Set it up

Pick your assistant.

The steps take a minute. You sign in on a Recolo page that names the app asking and lists what it can read, and nothing is shared until you allow it.

Web, desktop and mobile.

  1. Open Claude's settings and choose Customize.

  2. Open the Connectors tab, then choose Add.

  3. Name it RecoloMind, paste the connector URL, then choose Continue.

  4. Claude detects how to sign in. Leave both choices as they are and choose Add.

  5. Choose Connect on the RecoloMind connector.

  6. Your browser opens. Choose Continue connecting.

  7. Sign in with your Recolo email and password, check what the app can read, then choose Allow.

  8. Set the tools to Always allow so Claude never stops to ask. All sixteen are read-only.

Once connected

What your assistant can do.

  • Find your notes about something, by topic, person or phrase.
  • List what you recorded in a time window, like yesterday or last week.
  • Read a note's summary and its action items.
  • Read the full transcript of a recording.
  • See what your Dot heard today.
  • Search the people and topics in your brain.
  • Ask Recolo a question across everything you have captured. This one uses your Recolo credits.

What it can never do

  • Change a note, a transcript or anything else in your brain.
  • Delete anything.
  • Share anything with anyone.

Reading is the only thing the connector can do. That is a rule in the product, not a setting you have to get right.

Privacy and control

You stay in charge of the door.

  • Your assistant only sees what you could see when you open Recolo yourself. Nothing more.
  • Your password only ever goes to Recolo. The assistant never sees it, and never holds it.
  • The consent page names the app that is asking, by host, and lists what it can read before you allow it.
  • Disconnect any time in the dashboard: Settings, then Connected apps. Access stops at once.

Is it free?

Reading your notes is free. Asking Recolo a question across everything uses your Recolo credits, exactly as it does in the app.

Which plans can use it?

Every Recolo account can connect. The limit is on the assistant side: ChatGPT needs a paid plan with developer mode, while Claude, Claude Code and the MCP clients work on their normal plans.

Does it work offline?

No. Your assistant reads your notes from Recolo over the network, so both of you need to be online.

Can I connect two assistants?

Yes. Each assistant gets its own connection, and you can disconnect one without touching the other.

What if I change my Recolo password?

Your connections keep working. They end when you disconnect them from Settings, Connected apps.

How do I disconnect?

Open the dashboard, go to Settings, then Connected apps, and remove the one you want gone.
